Camp TSR Director

Jay

Jaye enjoys working at TSR because she believes it’s a great place to be, it has great tennis, great people, great staff and fresh ideas. She said that the future of the club is only getting better and brighter!. But Jaye wants people to know that TSR is more than just tennis, that it’s a community of friends. “I feel if I ever needed anything that this club and its members would rally around me. It is a huge part of my life, and I don’t know what I would do without it.”

Working at TSR has been a positive experience for Jaye. Teaching children at the club and in the schools have given Jaye an opportunity to see that tennis is so much more than a game. “Going into the schools we are introducing a lifetime sport that builds self-esteem, nurtures friendships and enhances fitness to kids that might not ordinarily have that chance.”

Jaye doesn’t have one person that she would consider a hero. She thinks that people who have faced and endured difficult situations and do it with compassion and kindness are heroic. “The kid that stands up for the underdog against a bully for example.”

When Jaye’s not at TSR she enjoys baking, knitting and searching for old cookie jars and her all-time favorite movie is, “To Kill a Mockingbird”.
